Vaughn Crofford, president of the Canadian Hardware & Housewares Manufacturers Association (CHHMA), has announced that Jerry Cayne, founder and president of Cayne's Super Housewares, and Louis-Marie Garant, founder and president of Garant Industries, are the 2013 inductees into the CHHMA's Industry Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame was established in 1984 to recognize the achievements of the industry’s leaders and pioneers. Since that time 54 industry icons, inventors, business founders and builders from the retail and manufacturing sectors have received the honour.
A luncheon celebrating the inductees will be held in conjunction with the CHHMA's annual Spring Conference, being held April 10th at the International Centre, Mississauga, Ontario. Tickets for the luncheon are included in the conference package. They also may be purchased individually by contacting Pam Winter at email@example.com.
